The book`s structure is as follows: Part l (To the Reader and Preliminary Confessions), Part II (Pleasures of Opium, Introduction to the P|About the Author|An English writer, essayist and critic. His masterpieces are notable for his creative and poetic prose. He also wrote essays on diverse subjects including economics, psychology, history and metaphysics.
